Every year, the waves bring us bricks on the beach! The bricks are said to come from an old (now closed) brick company in Conneaut, Ohio. The Conneaut Brick Company would discard their scrap in Lake Erie...fifty years later they show up on our beach!
I put the brick on my shower control column in my master bathroom in our beach house. (The controls are on the opposite side of the brick column.) What a tremendous house fashion statement...my friends love it! I used GE Silicone 3 to adhere them to the drywall...in seven years, no bricks have fallen off.
